The Gay Bible Project

I'm tired of folks using the Bible to justify their own homophobia. So, to equip us all with some intellectual ammunition to fight these Bible bullies, I'm launching "The Gay Bible Project." I'll be releasing several videos over the next few months that deal with LGBT issues in the biblical text. It's amazing how many passages have been passed over or even deliberately ignored by some of the loudest anti-gay voices of our time. The full truth in the Biblical text is much richer than these loudmouths have suggested. God may not have created "Adam and Steve", as many Bible fundamentalists like to shout, but God sure did create "David and Jonathan," and God sure did create "Ruth and Naomi" too. In fact, there are a whole bunch of passages in the bible that can help shed more light on our understanding of human sexuality. You might be surprised at what you learn.

As I like to joke in the videos, the Bible isn't just a little bit gay...it's SO gay!
